Hon. Udonsi Kalu Eke, a former Minority Leader of the Ohafia Legislative Council and a key stakeholder of the Labour Party (LP), has urged residents of Abia State to actively participate in the electoral process by registering with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and obtaining their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).
Speaking during a press briefing in Lagos, Eke emphasized the importance of civic responsibility, encouraging eligible voters across the state to ensure they are properly registered ahead of future elections.
He also expressed strong support for Governor Alex Chioma Otti, describing the governor’s development agenda as both practical and achievable in repositioning Abia State.
Eke stated that he remains committed to promoting the governor’s initiatives, particularly within Ohafia Local Government Area. According to him, his political experience has been instrumental in strengthening the Abia Arise Movement, which he said is focused on spreading awareness of the governor’s achievements across communities.
“I stand firmly with Governor Otti and have used my political experience, especially in Ohafia, to ensure that his structure — the Abia Arise Movement — continues to effectively showcase his good work to people at the grassroots,” he said.
