Iran Launches Strikes on Iraq and Dubai Following US-Israel Attacks

In retaliation for recent US and Israeli strikes, Iran has carried out attacks targeting multiple locations across neighboring Gulf countries.

Early Sunday, loud explosions were also reported near Erbil airport in Iraq’s autonomous Kurdistan region, where US-led coalition forces are stationed. Witnesses observed thick black smoke rising from the airport area.

On Saturday, coalition forces intercepted and shot down several missiles and explosive-laden drones over Erbil.

The ongoing conflict has resulted in significant civilian casualties. HRANA, the US-based Human Rights Activists News Agency, reports at least 133 civilians killed and 200 injured amid the hostilities between Iran, the US, and Israel.

According to HRANA, at least 59 separate incidents have occurred across 18 provinces in Iran, describing the operation as a large, multi-phase campaign. Tehran reportedly suffered the highest number of events, with schools and other child-related facilities affected.

The organization also noted widespread damage in residential neighborhoods, workplaces, and other areas where civilians live and work. Full assessments of the human and infrastructural impact are still ongoing.
