Deputy Governor of Abia State, Ikechukwu Emetu, has congratulated former Deputy Governor of the state, Dr Chris Akomas, on his 66th birthday.

Emetu, in a birthday message, described Akomas as a distinguished public servant whose contributions to the development of Abia State and Nigeria remained significant.

The Deputy Governor acknowledged Akomas’ contributions during his tenure as Deputy Governor and commended his continued involvement in public service.

Emetu also highlighted Akomas’ role as National Chairman of the Forum of Former Deputy Governors of Nigeria (FFDGN), saying the platform provides an avenue for former deputy governors to share their experiences and contribute to discussions on good governance and national development.

He prayed for God to grant Akomas renewed strength, good health, wisdom and many more years of meaningful service to humanity.

Emetu wished the former deputy governor a joyful birthday celebration and continued success in the years ahead.
